1. Platform Facilitation

WedConnect is an elite discovery directory designed to connect high-intent couples with verified wedding professionals across South Africa. Our role is strictly facilitative:

• WedConnect is not a contracting agent, nor are we a party to any agreement formed between Vendors and Couples.
• Any agreements, payments, or service performance occur directly between the Couple and the Vendor.
• We provide discovery, metadata, and reputation insights to assist in your selection process, but we do not guarantee service performance.

2. Vendor Obligations

Every listed professional represents the status of the WedConnect registry. Vendors acknowledge and agree to:

• Maintain absolute accuracy in their brand dossier, including contact particulars, niche specializations, and service areas.
• Respond to discovery briefings (enquiries) with professional conduct and high-velocity communication.
• Honor the high-status integrity of the platform by providing the exact services showcased in their visual portfolio.
• WedConnect reserves the right to strike-remove any listing that falls below our elite reputation threshold.

3. Couple Responsibilities

Couples utilizing the discovery engine for their premier wedding events agree to:

• Perform their own due diligence before strike-contracting any vendor listed on the platform.
• Interact with vendors with professional conduct via the provided interaction hubs.
• Acknowledge that payments and logistics are handled outside of the WedConnect vault, directly with the vendor.

4. Limitation of Liability

To protect the platform's architectural integrity and discovery mission:

• WedConnect shall not be held liable for any service failure, financial dispute, or scheduling conflict arising from a vendor-client engagement.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of 3rd party ratings (Google) mirrored within the trust pill components.
• Vendors are responsible for maintaining their own professional liability insurance and legal contracting for their specific niches.

5. Information Privacy (POPIA)

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, WedConnect anchors your data security as a primary protocol:

• Personal particulars shared via interaction hubs are strike-transmitted for the sole purpose of wedding discovery and vendor briefing.
• We do not sell your brand status or contact particulars to 3rd party marketing vaults.
• Vendors are strike-obligated to handle client briefing with the same high-status privacy protocols established by this platform.

6. Intellectual Property

The architectural design, typography, brand assets, and discovery algorithms of WedConnect are the exclusive property of the platform:

• Vendors retain ownership of their visual portfolios but grant WedConnect a high-velocity license to display these assets across the registry.
• Unauthorized reproduction of the WedConnect 'Elite' design system or source code is strictly prohibited and strike-monitored.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These protocols are anchored and governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa:

• Any disputes regarding the operation of this platform fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African legal system.
• WedConnect facilitates discovery but remains strike-isolated from service-level legal disputes between external parties.
